The Berks County recorder of deeds office has published its latest batch of property transactions, covering filings made on June 28. The recorded deeds, which are public information, include a mix of residential, commercial, and land sales across the county. Notably, several entries in the list do not include a transfer price, as those transactions involved no monetary exchange for the property.
Among the residential sales, a three-bedroom home on Spring Street in Reading changed hands for $185,000. In Exeter Township, a rancher on Hill Road sold for $310,000, while a larger colonial on Oak Lane in Wyomissing closed at $475,000. Commercial activity included a warehouse parcel on Industrial Drive in Muhlenberg Township, transferred for $1.2 million.
Several properties were transferred without a price. These include a family-held lot in Bern Township and a small commercial unit in West Reading, likely reflecting gifts, estate settlements, or intra-family transfers. The recorder's office reminds residents that all deed filings are available for public review at the county courthouse or through the online records portal.
The full list, organized by municipality, shows steady activity in the housing market, with most sales falling in the $200,000 to $400,000 range. A notable outlier was a farm property in Oley Township, which sold for $890,000. No further details on that transaction were immediately available.
